I expect to be pushed to write at an upper level being in a college level research site. I know that the papers will have to be different now that I am xpected to perform at an upper level. From my instructor I expect guidance in the direction he/she wants us to go but at the same time I expect to have to figure some stuff out on my own, and I am prepared to do so. I am loking forward to learning new research styles, learning how to use wiki, and making a good grade. I am anxious about having to do research in period, because in the past I was not too good at it....

In English 1100 we learned many good writing skills but in English 1200 I hope to take these skills to the next level or learn new writing skills in general. I have just now started to realize the importance of writing in my life and I hope realize this even more through this semester. In English 1200 I expect to write many good quality papers and to learn more about myself as a student and as a writer. All I expect from a professor is respect which is never really a problem for me because I have never had a professor or teacher that did not show me respect. In this class I hope to acquire better research skills and learn how to use all my sources to the best of my ability. I have a couple of questions. What topics or ideas will we be writing about in this class? What types of papers or articles are we going to use to write about these topics or ideas?
