The research at East Carolina university is very good and unique. I was pleased to see how ECU reaches out to the community and gives much effort to make it better. Something I did not realize though is how many different things are researched here. My favorite thing I learned about was the study on elderly drivers and their effects on how safe our roads are.

qdm0723 Researches @ ECU 1 Jan 24 2008, 6:15 PM EST by Josh_Hobgood

I was really amazed at found out about the professors here at ECU. I thought they were just teaching. I particularly liked the article me and brittany did about the findings of women not uniformly pacticing breast self-examinations. I think it's very important that women be informed on how to practice examinations uniformly to reduce the likelyhood of breast cancer.I don't think I would like to be a researcher because it takes too much work.
