  • Blogs, artifact analyses, and class participation grades will be evaluated over the weekend. To qualify for an A, you must have fewer than three absences, a solid artifact analysis, and no fewer than 10 reflective blogs that contribute significantly to the course conversation.
  • Log onto OneStop and complete the Student Opinion of Instruction Survey (SOIS). This is very important for me as I plan future offering of this course and assess my own teaching effectiveness as well as to the administration as they assess the value of my presence in the classroom. Please be honest and respond carefully to each question. Every respondant is entered in a drawing to win one of 10 $100 Best Buy Gift Cards to be drawn next week when the survey period is over. This should take you about 15 minutes.
  • Finish up your draft of the ethnography. Meet with your Service-;Learning Writing Group members on Friday (or with a consultant from the 1st Year Studio, if you prefer) to complete the attached peer review form. Scroll down to access it. This should be included in the portfolio as "Evidence of Feedback" for this genre. Revise according to the suggestions that you find useful.
  • Bring a draft of the entire MGRP to class on Monday to receive feedback, praise, and constructive criticism from myself and your peers.
