Well of course my age is a privilege for me because i'm grown and I can basically do what I want, but the the children I will be working with aren't of age yet so they have alot of authority over them.I am able to make my own money and buy the things I want when the children still have to depend on their parents for everything, which may not really be a bad thing. It depends on how you look at it. If I choose to cuss I can without getting in trouble.Of course I would never do that in front if the kids. They don't have the freedom of doing that without getting in trouble.

I haven't started my field study yet but it's going to be something dealing with children. I chose this subculture because I enjoy working with children. I don't think I have any fixed positions that may affect what see. From a subjective position I think I would be able to handle the kids and any problems that may come my way because i have two god kids who are three and six and i've been with them since they came into this world, so I think I have a little experience with kids. I have a fourteen year old brother who i've babysat when I was old enough to babysit, which was when I was thirteen. I've also baby sat my god kids aunt since she was five. So I think I can handle the kids. Hopefully gaining all this experience will affect how I raise my kids when I have some.
