The Reading Raiders Charter signed this day, 05 September 2007 by all participants; James Reardon, Rashid Khataie, Bryan Evans, and Kenneisha Stevenson.

Ground Rules:
1. Responsibility (you are an adult; act like it)
2. Positive attitude (don’t be a downer)
3. Attendance to all group activities is mandatory with the exception of 24 hours notice to contact person.
4. Active participation required.
5. Open communication with group.
6. Stay motivated throughout project.
7. Work as part of the team.
8. Mediate any conflicts within group.
9. Be prepared.
10. Be professional.

Each member is expected to:
Encourage
Criticize Constructively
Brainstorm

What we can do for ECU-Reads:
Obey ground rules and guidelines identified in this contract
Conduct ourselves professionally while being trained
Offer an impressive product for the service group

Wants and expectations:
To assist children in becoming great readers!
To successfully complete our service-learning project
For each group member to contribute in a positive way

Pet Peeves:
Lacking information/guidance

We intend to communicate and settle conflicts immidiately in a considerate manner

Concerning unmet expectations, our group will come together to quickly complete the unaccounted for assignment

Although we don't forsee an issue with over/under-participation, if it becomes a problem, we will discuss the reasons for the lack of interest or the distractions being caused, and respond accordingly

Rules about multi-tasking:
if you can please do
if you cannot, focus on one achievable aspect at a time

How decisions will be made:
democratically
